If your lot is outside our current service area, you can still reach out or create a listing for review — if you think you'd be a good fit, let us know and we may be able to expand to you. Submit your details on the expansion request form and we'll be in touch.
Welcome to Nearby's Host Program. By agreeing to these terms, you are entering into a binding agreement with Nearby, Inc. ("Nearby," "we," "us," or "our") to list your parking space(s) on our platform and receive payments for bookings made by users ("Parkers").
To become a Host on Nearby, you must:
As a Host, you agree to:
You set your own prices for your parking space. Nearby charges a service fee of 20% on each booking, which is deducted from the booking amount before payout. Payments are processed through Stripe, our payment processor. You must complete Stripe's verification process to receive payouts.
You may set your own cancellation policy within the options provided by Nearby. If you cancel a confirmed booking, you may be subject to penalties including but not limited to:
Nearby provides limited Host protection for verified bookings made through our platform. However, you acknowledge that:
As a Host, you agree NOT to:
Nearby reserves the right to suspend or terminate your Host account at any time for violation of these terms, fraudulent activity, repeated complaints from Parkers, or any other reason at our sole discretion. You may also close your Host account at any time by contacting support.
Nearby may modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the platform. Continued use of the Host services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the Host services shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You agree to waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits against Nearby.
